Kaiyodo's flagship Amazing Yamaguchi line — sculpted by the legendary Katsuhisa Yamaguchi — brings the Man of Steel to life based on his renewed appearance at the start of the "New 52" large-scale reboot in 2011. His outfit sports the familiar "S" shield and red cloak, but with a metallic texture and split lines that hint at the unknown technology of Krypton.

Every ounce of Yamaguchi's signature engineering is here. A mechanism divides the left and right sides of his torso so the entire shoulder can swing back and forth, while the hip joints let his massive legs bend deeply — giving you a wide range of dynamic poses while keeping his powerful body line intact . With a staggering 38 points of articulation, this figure hits the pose and holds it.

Measuring approximately 17.5cm (about 7") tall, Superman comes ready to command your shelf. Best of all, he arrives with two cloaks: one made of fabric with a wired edge for windblown poses, and one that's jointed for controlled poseability — swap between them depending on the scene you're building. Add in four interchangeable faces and eight interchangeable hands to cover just about any situation, plus a figure stand with a posing arm for airborne action.
